Welcome to Reis Photography. I am a self taught photographer born and raised on the island of Oahu, HI. I became interested in photography when I left the islands to attend college back in 2003.  Being in a new surroundings and seeing places one might never imagine seeing coming from such a small island in the middle of the Pacific, had me photographing anything and everything.  However, I think I've always had an eye for the aesthetically pleasing and a heart so big, that it's easily touched.  There is a quote by Aaron Siskind that describes exactly what photography is to me:  “Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”  Likewise, my ultimate goal is to help as many people as I can, to remember the little things, long after everything has been forgotten.  It is truly a blessing to be able to do what I love and share it with the world.
