I will be traveling from 4/1-4/9.  I took this picture in February when I visited Seattle for a couple days.  Luckily I will have more time to spend in the city and have even booked a portrait session this Sunday.  This will be the first time I am shooting a couple and their pet, which happens to be a bunny.  I LOVE bunnies!  I can't wait.

A.P | Senior Portrait

On Sunday I met with Amanda and her family in Kane'ohe for her Senior Portraits.  Her mom was my highschool advisor for club med, 9 years ago.  I remember Amanda when she was in elementary and her and her sister would run into her mom's classroom after school during one of our club meetings.  Amanda is now a senior at SHA and will be graduating this Spring with the class of 2011. She will be attending BSU in the fall with her sister who is currently a freshman at BSU.  Congratulations, Amanda!  Good luck in all your future endeavors!

R.T | Senior Portrait

Did a senior portrait shoot with Rachael yesterday, on the North Shore.  I had a blast and she was so fun to work with.  She had not received her cap and gown yet so I suggested that we meet again another day for a mini session to complete the portraits with her cap and gown photos.  Here are some photos from yesterday's shoot:

Tip #1: Color Scheme

I have decided to post random portrait tips here and there that will help you on the day of your session.
Color Scheme:  You want to choose a color scheme, but try not to be too matching.  Clothing and accessories can really make or break a photo.  So it is important to keep this in mind when selecting a color scheme.  Here are some examples using purple as your color.

How NOT to dress:

While there is really nothing horribly wrong with these red outfits, you can see the difference in the photos and how it looks much better with pops of purple mixed in, instead of a large concentration of one color all over the place.  Hope this helps.  Good Luck!

Llanos | Family

Oh my it has been a busy weekend!  Did some family portraits for Kristi and her family on Sunday.  Tylie wasn't feeling too well that morning but she did great.  Rylen was just a ball of energy and so well behaved.  Here are some photos from the session:

Finally finished Saturday's wedding photos and am now starting to edit photos from Sunday's family portrait session with Kristi and her family.  Here is a sneak peak.

R&M | Wedding

CONGRATULATIONS! to Mr. and Mrs. Ram Kashiwamura.  The couple had an intimate ceremony on the beach between Duke's and The Moana Surfrider hotel, where they first met surfing in the water.  Reception was held at Rainbows Drive-In; very unique location!  Here are some photos from the event.
