Earlier this year, an acquaintance from high school had contacted me, inquiring about doing photos for her bestfriend's wedding. I didn't know Ashley too well from high school, but I had seen her around and we had mutual friends. So I was very flattered and appreciative that she had thought to ask me, especially since I work mainly on referrals. The bride and groom were going to be coming in for a destination wedding, from California. How fun! Since I had to work with two different locations in a short amount of time, I decided to contract a second photographer to help me out. He focused mainly on the groom and his groomsmen getting ready, while I focused mainly on Jackie and maid of honor, Ashley. Their hotel had an amazing view of Waikiki beach. After getting ready we headed out to Hawaii Kai, as they had rented a beach house for the ceremony. The private beach was gorgeous as was the home. I was so honored to have been able to be apart of their special day in this way. Their intimate beach ceremony was absolutely beautiful. Here are some photos from their September wedding.
